Furniture and furnishings to create a distinguished atmosphere are an integral part of making the centre truly a home for our residents.

We also have an electrical generator to assure heating and lighting for the building and electricity for all important medical , communications, access control, and auxiliary services equipment.

As a long-term care institution we have all the equipment that is to be expected, but we also have much more.

We believe that it is important to be well equipped so that our residents may maximize the quality of their life, security, and at the same time minimize the necessity of transfers to hospitals.

Physical and Occupational Therapy: Cervical traction, Massage equipment, Parallel bars, Activities Board

Respiratory System: Compressors for inhalo therapy, Oxygen compressors with accessories, Reanimation equipment, Suction equipment

Laboratory: Glucometry, Simple urine exams

Medication: Uni-dose system for distribution of medication

Cardiac System: Electrocardiogram

Role of The Local Services and Quality Commissioner (LSQCC):

To ensure that the rights of the residents are respected
To participate in the continual improvement of the quality of care and services offered to the residents.
To permit a resident or their legally mandated representative lodged in one of Santé Courville residences that is not satisfied with the care and services received or that they should have received; the opportunity to express their complaint and to receive explanations and appropriate corrective measures that are in accord with the rules specified by the law on health and social services.
